5-FU helped save my friend Shaine Edwards’s life.

It should come as no surprise that this piece is dedicated to my friend
Shaine Edwards. Giving cancer the FU has emboldened Shaine in
many ways, not least of all his sartorial selections. He now has the
confidence to wear ill-fitting shirts featuring kittens shooting laser beams
out of their eyes.
